Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale Data Warehouse, Data Integration, and Big Data platforms.
Conduct Right-Fit analysis to recommend optimal technologies, integration patterns, and platform strategies.
Architect and oversee the implementation of data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion frameworks, and analytical data layers.
Project Delivery & Execution
Drive POCs, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations to validate new approaches and technologies.
Create and enforce implementation plans, development standards, and best practices for the data engineering ecosystem.
Lead development teams and collaborate with business, product, and analytics groups to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Data Governance & Quality
Oversee metadata management, data catalogs, and governance artifacts to ensure transparency and reusability.
Implement and maintain data lineage, ensuring traceability across data flows and integrations.
Define and enforce QA strategies, including testing frameworks, validation procedures, and quality assurance checkpoints.
Provide advanced BI and analytics support for enterprise reporting platforms.
Monitor platform performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives across architecture, performance, and reliability.
Stay current with emerging trends in cloud data platforms, big data engineering, and modern analytics technologies.
This role requires being onsite with the client 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years experience in ETL/Big data, data modeling and relational database.
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background in data modeling, relational and dimensional modeling, and modern data architecture principles.
Expertise with data integration tools, big data technologies, and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proven experience in solution architecture, risk assessment, POCs, and development leadership.
Strong knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data governance frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to define and execute QA strategies and implementation roadmaps.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
